Mar 13, 2012 If you didn't have that previously, then you didn't properly install the atrpm repo. Now rerun yum install mplayer. Everything should work. Installing mplayer should have installed most of the codecs. Plus, you have epel repos enabled, I suspect, and that's part of what's messing you up.

In my other topic, I asked how to get windows media files to work on linux, my answer was: 'mplayer' though I couldn't figure out how to install it currectly with gui.
yum install mplayer
*installs*
at this point I can type mplayer and the program executes, non-gui, and doesn't play files!!
yum install mplayer-gui
*returns dependency error..*
This is the error:

I think I might need to do something with codecs but don't know how, and I would loovee to have GUI working.
